Jerome T. Murphy is a Partner at Tressler LLP, a national law firm based in Chicago, where he represents clients in complex civil defence litigation and real estate matters. A third-generation attorney, Murphy was inspired by watching his grandfather, father and uncles use the law to serve their community. Their example motivated him to pursue a legal career of his own. After graduating from Brother Rice High School, he earned a degree in Economics from the University of Illinois before graduating cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2014.

Murphy’s practice includes governmental tort defence, commercial disputes, breach of contract claims, toxic tort litigation, medical malpractice, nursing home and wrongful death cases, personal injury defence, and real estate transactions. He has represented clients in both state and federal courts and has experience in trial and appellate matters.
